Our Watering Recommendations

We’re getting closer and closer to the fall weather in Texas! For now, projections are showing another week of temps in the mid to high 80s, so lawn watering will continue as normal. Our recommendation is to water twice a week in the absence of rain for a total of 1 inch per week. Contact us with any questions or concerns! 

A Few Tips for Watering Landscape Beds:  

For bed areas, we want to note that the recommendation is to water once per week, ideally in the morning as well. Shrubs and landscape plants can be especially vulnerable to fungus issues at this time of year due to the chilly night temperatures.  

• Avoid overwatering.  

• Water with a drip line or do your best to water close to the soil instead of a direct stream to the leaves of the shrubs.
