Our Weekly Watering Recommendations
It’s been a mostly dry week in Texas for areas near Bryan and College Station. With recent storms, some areas of NW Houston received rain to supplement about one watering. We recommend keeping an eye on how much rain your area is receiving and continuing to water accordingly. Bryan and College Station areas had an even dryer week so please make sure to follow your standard watering schedules. Our recommendation is to aim for three watering sessions per week, for about 1.5 inches of water on the lawn. As we are starting to see the infamous high-temperature days here in Texas, please remember how important watering is for the health and success of your lawn. It needs water to survive just like we do! Contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your lawn.
Bonus tip: Next week’s forecast shows a possibility of triple-digit temperatures. The earlier in the day you can water, the better! Morning watering is the best way to avoid evaporation and water loss from the peak heat of the day.
