Thankfully, Mother Nature has provided our Texas lawns with some rainfall this week! Homeowners in our areas of College Station, Bryan, and NW Houston should be safe to leave irrigation systems off this week. Lately, we have noticed a spike in fungal issues, as disease can be a common problem for St. Augustine lawns during this time of year. Keep an eye on your lawn to spot signs of disease early. Additionally, as the fall season kicks into full swing, we are nearing the end of the active growing season, meaning the growth rate will start to slow down. Keep this in mind when mowing, and always follow the “One-Third Rule”.
