Our Weekly Watering Recommendations
As it stands in Bryan, College Station, and areas of NW Houston, the summer heat and drought conditions have continued on. We are hoping for a small bit of relief in upcoming weeks, and we can’t wait for some Texas fall weather! Highs in the forecast next week are expected to stay below triple digits which is a small victory, but a win, nonetheless. Our watering recommendations remain the same. Water your lawn as much as you can depending on your area’s current watering restrictions. We recommend watering 3 times per week for about .5 inches per session. If restrictions limit you to watering two times a week, aim for .75 inches per session. The goal is to maintain 1.5 inches of water per week to keep lawns hydrated through the drought.
